Dreams

It is hard to let a dream go.
I know this.

But when you let a little bird out of it's cage, it has a chance to grow in ways that it never would..
IF
you had kept it in that cage.
Your dreams can grow in ways you cannot imagine,
IF
you let them go.
As soon as you let go, the better chance that you will get exactly what you want.
You may have to wait longer,
BUT
in the end..
it is
ALWAYS
worth
the
wait.

I let a dream go tonight.

Letting Go.

Today,
A very dear friend said she would be leaving.

It will be several weeks, but it is a question of how to deal with this pain that we feel in saying goodbye.

Simply, we need to realize that these people in our lives,
whom we have been blessed to have their spark flash ours,
for just a instant,
no matter how brief,
were never ours to begin with.

They have their own paths, their own trails and joys that swirl around them.
And we need to feel blessed and thank God, that we had them at all.

I am learning this along with everyone else..
